This coffee comes from the Kochere area of Ethiopia’s Yirgacheffe region, where farms sit between 1,800 and 2,000 meters. High elevation, cool mountain air, and fertile soil create ideal conditions for heirloom Ethiopian varieties. Producers here use the fully washed method, which highlights the region’s delicate floral and citrus character. Yirgacheffe is celebrated worldwide for clean, aromatic coffees with tea-like elegance and layered complexity, making it one of Ethiopia’s most iconic origins.
CRAFT
Our light roast preserves the vibrant nuance of Yirgacheffe coffee. Bright citrus and floral aromatics lead into notes of black tea, dark berries, and gentle spice. Lively acidity and medium body make it especially suited for pour-over or Chemex brewing, where clarity and complexity shine. Responsibly sourced from Kochere producers, this lot delivers a refined expression of one of Ethiopia’s most distinctive coffee terroirs.
