Colombie Popayán
ORIGIN
This lot comes from small family farms surrounding the city of Popayán in Colombia’s Cauca Department. Grown on the Meseta de Popayán plateau at 1,700 meters, the coffee benefits from rich volcanic soil, abundant sunlight, and a stable climate. Farmers here primarily cultivate Caturro and Castillo varieties, harvesting twice each year during the main crop from October to January and the smaller mitaca from April to June. Many of these producers follow sustainable and often organic practices, contributing to the clean, bright, and subtly fruity profile for which Popayán coffee is celebrated.
CRAFT
Our medium roast brings out the smooth balance of Colombian Popayán coffee. We roast this lot to highlight the balanced sweetness and refined character of high-altitude Colombian coffee. Fully washed to enhance clarity, it reveals gentle chocolate tones, ripe fruit, and a soft floral lift. The profile is bright yet rounded, making it equally enjoyable black or with milk. Directly sourced from dedicated Cauca producers, this coffee offers approachable complexity with a clear sense of place in every cup.

Our specialty coffee is crafted with ethically sourced, high-grade arabica beans from trusted farms around the world. Each roast brings out bold flavour, smooth finish, and consistent quality in every cup. We roast in small batches to honour the origin, depth, and complexity of every bean.
